This week, there is an interesting article from Tepper and colleagues which observes that about half of women have prominent vasomotor symptoms which persist over many years, often more than a decade.

Results: Women with chronic depression were about three times as likely to have spontaneous carotid artery dissection chronic depression (aOR, 3.56; 95% CI 1.43 to 8.83).
