Kalin Ellison graduated from Cornell University in 2019 with a major in Human Biology, Health, and Society, and a minor in global health. While at Cornell, Kalin was a research assistant in the Division of Nutritional Sciences, studying the implementation of prenatal calcium supplementation in Ethiopia. She also spent 8 weeks in Moshi, Tanzania conducting public health research and working at the Network Against Female Genital Mutilation. During her time at Cornell, Kalin served as the musical director and president of her a cappella group, Nothing But Treble. In her free time, she enjoys playing the piano, writing, and exploring Boston. At MGH, Kalin works on a clinical trial for a drug to treat post-menopausal vasomotor symptoms, as well as a project studying the prevention of depressive relapse during pregnancy. After her time at MGH, Kalin plans on attending medical school.
