Clinical Research Coordinator

Caroline graduated from the University of North Carolina – Chapel Hill in 2023 with a degree in Psychology. As an undergraduate research assistant, she studied how a child’s environment and their mother’s experiences during pregnancy predict the child’s cognitive development, behavior, and health. She received honors for her thesis on the impact of maternal postpartum factors and continued stressors on toddler behavioral inhibition. Caroline interned at RTI International where she coded interactions between mothers and children with rare neurogenetic syndromes. She also worked at NC Maternal Mental Health MATTERS where she designed patient and provider resources and contributed to a project examining the quality of maternal care in North Carolina health departments. At MGH, Caroline supports the National Pregnancy Registry for Psychiatric Medications. She also works on a pilot study aimed to prevent eating disorder relapse among perinatal women as well as a pilot study investigating digital app interventions. After her time at MGH, she intends to pursue a Masters in Public Health or PhD in maternal and child health to continue her education in the field.
