Welcome to a New Year.  We are looking forward to it.

We hope you are enjoying a new feature on our website:  ESSENTIAL READS.  This is a kind of shortcut which allows you to find the most relevant reviews and articles in reproductive psychiatry.  Each Wednesday, we will add a new article to the collection.  In this section of our website, we will highlight the most up-to-date articles to help guide diagnosis, clinical decision-making, and treatment options.

For example, if you want to learn more about PMDD, you can simply go to ESSENTIAL READS and look at the PMDD section.  As we continue to update this section in real-time, we will be able to provide a curated collection of clinically oriented, practical articles for those interested in reproductive psychiatry.

Here is a list of upcoming topics we will be covering in January:

  • January 7 – SSRI Antidepressants Do Not Increase Risk of Miscarriage
  • January 14 – Is there a Role for Omega-3 Fatty Acids in Women at Risk for Perinatal Depression?
  • January 21 -More Data on ADHD Medications and Pregnancy
  • January 28 – Phenomenology, Epidemiology and Aetiology of Postpartum Psychosis: A Review

Combine this resource with our newsletter and our weekly clinical rounds, and you are off to an excellent start.
