Skye graduated with highest distinction from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2025 with a B.S. in Psychology and a B.A. in Advertising and Public Relations. As an undergraduate, she worked as a research assistant in the Neuroendocrinology of Reproductive Mood Disorders, where she conducted research on the impact of hormonal changes and stress on the development of mood symptoms during the pubertal transition. Skye was also a research assistant in The Anxiety Lab, where she investigated Relationship-OCD, and in The Hopfinger Lab, where she researched attention and distraction using event-related potentials (ERPs).
At MGH, Skye supports the National Pregnancy Registry for Psychiatric Medications and a study aimed to prevent eating disorder relapse among perinatal women, as well as a pilot study investigating digital app interventions for postpartum depression. After her time at MGH, she intends to pursue a doctorate in clinical psychology to continue her education in reproductive mental health.
