Ingrid graduated from Bates College in 2026, with a B.S. in Biochemistry and a minor in Anthropology. As an undergraduate, she conducted research in Dr. Laurita’s lab, investigating the structure-property relationships of pyrochlore crystal systems using neutron spallation instruments at the Oak Ridge National Laboratory. Following her data analysis, she presented this work at the 2026 American Chemical Society Spring Meeting. Beyond research, Ingrid supported pediatric eating disorder treatment as an intake coordinator, medical assistant, and school teacher. She also volunteered in the clinical laboratory of a community health center providing care for underserved and marginalized populations in Portland, Oregon. At MGH, Ingrid supports the National Pregnancy Registry for Psychiatric Medications and helps disseminate the Center’s research by maintaining its website. Following her time at MGH, she plans to attend medical school and pursue a career in psychosomatic psychiatry.
