Register for our Oct 15, 2026 virtual conference on perinatal psychiatry, featuring expert guidance on diagnosing and treating psychiatric conditions across pregnancy and postpartum.

We are thrilled to announce that our Virtual: Perinatal Psychiatry: Focus on Treatment Across Pregnancy and the Postpartum conference will be held on October 15, 2026.

This virtual one-day conference hosted through the MGH Psychiatry Academy will focus on the diagnosis and treatment of psychiatric conditions before, during, and after pregnancy. As clinical decisions in this space require careful consideration of both medication exposure and the risks of untreated illness, this course offers practical, up-to-date guidance to support informed, collaborative care.

Learn directly from Harvard Medical School faculty, including Drs. Lee S. Cohen, Marlene P. Freeman, Ruta Nonacs, and colleagues, through a full day of focused sessions covering:

  • Psychiatric disorders during pregnancy and postpartum
  • Postpartum mood and anxiety disorders
  • Medication decision-making and reproductive safety resources
  • Substance use disorders in pregnancy and the postpartum
  • ADHD in women across the reproductive years
  • Evidence-based psychotherapy approaches for depression, anxiety, and OCD in the perinatal period
