Are you experiencing symptoms of menopause and feeling depressed or down?

If you are a peri- or postmenopausal woman age 40-62 and:

  • Experienced changes in your menstrual cycle within the past five years
  • Experiencing significant menopause-related symptoms such as hot flashes
  • Feeling down or depressed
  • Not currently taking antidepressants or hormone therapy
You may be eligible for a research study at Massachusetts General Hospital evaluating how a medication treats menopausal depression and other symptoms of menopause.  Women who participate will receive study medication and evaluations of their mood at no cost and will be compensated up to $390 over the course of the 16-week study.
