Clinical Research Coordinator

Ella Rossa graduated magna cum laude from Amherst College in 2021 with a B.A. in Psychology. She completed her undergraduate thesis on the effects of social media on autobiographical memory. During the summer, she also worked under the guidance of Amherst alumnus Dr. Janet Lydecker at the Yale Program for Obesity Weight and Eating Research to produce a research project that examined the effect of parent and adolescent weight change on child feeding and eating disorder psychopathology. As a clinical research coordinator with the CWMH, Ella supports the National Pregnancy Registry for Psychiatric Medications and a neurosteroid intervention for perimenopausal depression. After MGH, Ella hopes to either pursue either a degree in clinical social work or a PhD in clinical psychology.
