Elizabeth Clayton graduated with honors from Wesleyan University in 2014, where she majored in College of Letters (literature, history and philosophy). After graduation, she worked as a research assistant for Dr. Joyce Chung at NIMH, studying the psychosocial effects of cancer on the young adult population. She then completed a premedical post-baccalaureate certificate at Bryn Mawr College. Following that, she worked as a labor and delivery clinical research coordinator at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania. In 2017, she began medical school at the Tufts University School of Medicine and is set to graduate in 2021.
