I was just diagnosed with PMDD. I have episodes of severe depression, wanting to hurt myself, hopelessness, and uncontrolable crying. Afterwards, it is like nothing happened. Has anyone else experienced anything like this?
I have PMDD too, and these are the same symptoms I have been experiencing. I have been seeing my psychiatrist for about 6 months and she recommended I go on some type of medication. I am feeling better, and continue to see my doctor. I found this page to be helpful: http://womensmentalhealth.org/specialty-clinics/pms-and-pmdd/
