We continue to develop resources to help clinicians and patients learn more about reproductive psychiatry.  In addition to following the most recent medical literature on our website, we will be offering a series of advanced online lectures on selected topics in Women’s Mental Health.  Information on how to register for this class will be posted in the near future.

But for those who may not be able to attend those conferences, we are launching a new section on our website on December 2nd:

ESSENTIAL READS

This is a kind of shortcut which allows you to find the most relevant reviews and articles in reproductive psychiatry.  Each Wednesday, we will add a new article to the collection.  In this section of our website, we will highlight the most up-to-date articles to help guide diagnosis, clinical decision-making, and treatment options.

For example, if you want to learn more about PMDD, you can simply go to ESSENTIAL READS and look at the PMDD section.  As we continue to update this section in real-time, we will be able to provide a curated collection of clinically oriented, practical articles for those interested in reproductive psychiatry.

Combine this resource with our newsletter and our weekly clinical rounds, and you are off to an excellent start.

Here are some of the upcoming topics we will be covering:

  • December 2Clinical Update: Remeron and Pregnancy
  • December 9 – Screening for Perinatal Anxiety Disorders
  • December 16 – Alcohol Use and Breastfeeding
  • December 23 – Ovarian Suppression for the Treatment of Severe PMDD
  • December 30 – 2020 Year in Review

And we wish everybody a healthy and happy Thanksgiving holiday.
